How to...

How to stay organized:
I don't know about anyone else but I find it very hard to remember the things that I have to do during the week. If anyone else has the same problem I do here are some of the steps I take to help me remind myself what I have to do for the week.

1. I have a planner. This planner is amazing because it has the months from July on for this year and all of next year!! I like that I don't have to go out and buy a planner every year. The planner also has numbers on the days for appointments. (Which is something that I find extremely helpful!) I write everything in my planner!

Things that I do in my planner:
  • I write things on post-it notes and stick it in there.
  • I highlight due dates for papers or test days.
2. The next thing that I do to help remind myself during the week is I re-enter everything that I wrote in my planner on my google calendar. You are probably thinking that is a lot of work to remember things. Well yes it is but the reason that I do that is because I don't always carry my planner with me. I do on the other hand carry my phone.

I hope this helped you!

What I am currently reading!

I am currently in the middle of reading two books. One happens to be a reread and the other one is a new read for me.
The two books that I am reading are The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.
The Fault in Our Stars is a reread for me and it is one of my favorite books of all time! If you do not know what this book is about I think goodreads gives a good summary for it.

The Fault in Our Stars

Is about a teenager who has cancer..That is not (really) the focus of the book. I cannot summarize a book very well..I have read this book many times and I struggle telling people what it is about. Just go check out the summary on Goodreads or Amazon to get a more in-depth summary.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is about a girl who gets into an accident but she can't remember the accident. I struggle telling people what it is about. Just go check out the summary on Goodreads or Amazon to get a more in-depth summary.

I picked up The Fault in Our Stars again because it usually leaves me wanting to read more books. I am in a reading slump and it has been hard for me to read the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. When I pick it up and read it, I am loving what I read, but I am not wanting to read this book every time I get a spare minute. So I hope rereading The Fault in Our Stars will help me get back in the reading mood.

Book Review: Amy and Roger's Epic Detour

My Rating: 3/5

I just finished Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I enjoyed it. At first (just by looking at the cover and the synopsis on the back of the book) I thought that this was just going to be a cute summer read but it was much more than that! This book was all about these two people (Amy and Roger) and their struggle to overcome the obstacles in their lives.

One thing about the book that I really loved was that Morgan Matson focused on these two characters and their development throughout the book. I enjoyed that this book wasn't solely focused on the romance of these two characters, like I originally thought it was going to.

In the book there are playlists, receipts, and pictures. I loved that the book had this in it. It gave the readers a break from all the seriousness for a little while.

The only thing that I disliked about this book was the ending. I wanted more and I don't think that there are any plans for a sequel.

Overall I enjoyed this book and I would recommend this to people who are looking for a fun but serious book.

Hello

Hello everyone, I know that I have not posted in a while and I am sorry. I fell into a rut about what I wanted to write about on here. I...
