Jan. Book Haul (2017)
Remember when I said that I wanted to refrain from buying books?
I genuinely wanted to stick to that goal but my library had a sale and I could not help myself. I paid $1-2 for most of the books that I bought from the library. I also bought one book full price this month and handful of books that I am going to show you today were given to me.
After all that explaining lets just get to the books I got this month.
First I am going to start with the books that I got from the library for $1-$2 a piece.
Brooklyn Story by Suzanne Corso was the first book that I picked up this month. If you guys have been reading my blog for a little while you would know that I was obsessed with the movie Brooklyn. I just needed another story set in Brooklyn.
My next book purchase was the Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West. I read this book this month so lookout for my thoughts on it in my wrap up.
I bought these next three books just yesterday and I can not get over the condition that these books are in. The 5th Wave still has the Target 20% off sticker on it!
I got the 5th Wave for the challenge of a bestselling book from a genre that you have not read. I have never read a book about aliens before and I have heard that this book is good.
I got this Agatha Christie book because it fills the challenge to read a book recommended by a librarian.
I did not get Shatter Me for a specific challenge. I just haven't read this series and I am interested to see if I like it or not.
This next book was the only book this month that I bought full price.
I read the majority of the Lunar Chronicles (I still need to read Winter) in 2015 and I am excited to read another Marissa Meyer book.
The next bunch of books I did not buy. My lovely mother was clearing out her bookshelves and she knows that I love Jodi Picoult so she just gave me these.
Well those are all of the books I got this month. Let me know what books you got this month!
Thank you for reading.
I hope you have a great day!

Book Haul!
I am back! Yes! After a crazy semester I am off on winter break.
I was trying to think of a good "first
blog post to get me back into the swing of blogging and I thought 'what a better way to get back into blogging than to tell you guys what books I have bought recently.'
I have bought so many books in the last month it is unreal. I think I have 12 or 13 books in this book haul and I can't to show all of you.
First I am going to start with the books that were given to me for my birthday. My friend Anna gave me a Barnes and Noble gift card and these are the books that I picked.
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
The next set of books that I got are from Walmart.
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
The Diabolic by S. J. Kincaid
I also got some books from the library all for a dollar!
The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton
The Giver by Lois Lowry
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
The last batch of books that I purchased were from Book Outlet when they had their Black Friday sale
The Sculptor by Scott McCloud
The Shut Out by Kody Keplinger
The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly by Stephanie Oaks
Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan
Stars Above by Marissa Meyer
Thanks for the Trouble by Tommy Wallace
Well those are all the books that I have bought this past month. I think it is safe to say that I wont be buying more for a while because I have so much to read now.
Let me know what books you have purchased recently!
Thanks for reading!
I hope you have a great day!
